Terms and Conditions

As a condition of using this website, you agree to comply with and be subject to all the following terms and conditions of use.

 You must confirm that all the details that you have provided in completing the order, either via our website or phone and/or app, are true and correct. It is a condition of purchase that you verify that you are 18 years of age or over. If you do not confirm that you are 18 years or over, your order will not be processed.


Address for delivery
You agree that the address to which we may deliver is the address you gave for delivery as part of your order. We reserve the right to refuse to deliver to an address the does not meet a residence or business address.

We will not deliver unless all requested delivery details are given when you place your order.

•        1 Hour Delivery: Matthews Liquor orders will be delivered to your door within 45-60 minutes. Occasionally orders may take up to 60-75 minutes. We will keep you informed if that is the case.

•        General Delivery: Matthews Liquor orders will be dispatched 1-2 business days after order received, delivery will take a further 3 business days.

Delivery pre-conditions
It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. This is a condition of sale under the Victorian Liquor license laws

You agree that we may rely on any person who is at the address you gave for delivery, and who takes receipt of your ordered products, as being authorised for that purpose .We will not complete delivery of  your order if any of our requests for verification (such as proof of identity or age) are not met.

Returns and Refunds

Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (see below) and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights, because your satisfaction is important to us.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

'Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. 
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In the event that there has been an error on our part, that is the products delivered are defective or items received are not what you have ordered, the product may be returned within 14 days of the delivery date for a full store credit voucher refund for use in future purchases. Please note that only products in their original condition and packaging may be valid for a return and refund.

For a change of mind or mistakenly ordering the wrong products we do allow refunds with a 20% restocking fee charged based on the total of the order, including the shipping cost and any other fees involved in cancelling the order.
